With the Microsoft Ads integration, Octanist can send qualified and converted leads directly to Microsoft Ads. This allows Microsoft Ads to optimize campaigns based on actual results instead of just lead volume.

1. Connect Your Microsoft Ads Account

  1. In your Octanist dashboard, navigate to Integrations > Outgoing.
  2. Click Add Integration and select Microsoft Ads.
  3. Grant the required permissions and select the correct Ad Account.
  4. Click Continue.

2. Map Conversion Names

In this step, you’ll map your Octanist lead statuses to Microsoft Ads conversion names.
  • Qualified Lead: Select an existing conversion name from the list, or create a new one by clicking the + button.
  • Converted Lead: Do the same — select an existing name or create a new one.
Conversion names must exactly match what is configured in your Microsoft Ads account. If you’re creating new ones, they will be created on the Microsoft Ads side as well.
Click Next Step to continue.

3. Finalize the Integration

  1. Give the integration an internal name for your own reference.
  2. Optionally, adjust the Advanced Settings:
    • Enhanced Conversions is enabled by default for qualified leads.
    • If you have already qualified leads in Octanist, you can use the Backfill option to retroactively send existing leads to Microsoft Ads.
  3. Click Complete Setup.
Once active, the integration will appear as Active in your integrations overview. Octanist will now automatically send qualified and converted leads to Microsoft Ads.
